I'm on LI as well. Helping my grandfather maintain his 104. Know of anywhere that knows how to rebuild the mower decks? He tried a place near our job and they botched the job twice....now I'm tasked with fixing it or finding a place since his health isnt what it was a couple months ago.

I'm from Sullivan County NY. I just got my first Cub Cadet, a '69 124 with a creeper gear. I'm currently restoring it.

I'm in Hudson Valley Middletown, NY. I have a CC1450 with 38" deck, 42" blade, QA36" Snow Thrower, and I welded an adjustable Back Blade together from a old Propane tank, to mount on a sleeve hitch off of a Brimley Mould Plow assembly. Future modifications designing an independent Rear Hydraulic Lift.

Transplant to central NY 5 years ago (Ithaca then Dryden) from Central Virginia.
Finally bought a house and able to buy a cub which I have wanted since I had to sell my grandpa's 1200 that was too big to use or store at my parents house.
Not necessarily a collector just someone restoring an excellent 1450 machine to use.

Hi everyone, I'm Scot, originally from Waverly NY, Southern Tier, and I've now been in Rochester for 25 years.

I had a non-running model 147, but sold it due to space constraints. Ive since solved that problem, and Im planning to look for an Original this year! :)
