The white brackets were for a leaf vacuum. I plan on taking them off. I would like to get a sleeve hitch for it as well so if anyone has one under $100 I will buy it :)

Well I got the engine out. I pulled the pan and I was right. It did throw the rod. The good news is that it only took a small piece out of the bore. The piston skirt doesn't reach where the break is. So once I have the block stripped down I am going to go over the block with a magnifing glass to see if there are any cracks.
On a side note the red harvest moon eclipse was beautiful. I pulled the engine just as it was starting. :) |
Also as a side note. What type of paint was used on the muffler for the cubs? I would like to get the same paint for it. Or atleast the equivalent.
