The bolt pattern on the M12 is the same as what was in it but the M12 has the deep sump so I had to do a little cutting to make it fit. Only issue is that the engine has to go in straight down so it won't slide forward to get the clutch in. The clutch has to go in first then the engine and then the trans has to be slid forward.

Finished the welding on the frame. Cleaned the rear end and pulled the axles. It's getting a set of disk brake axles. Ordered a complete clutch from Mid West Super Cub and a set of seals for the axles from the local Cub dealer. So far so good.

Pulled the steering box apart today. Just needed a good cleaning and refill with new grease. Lucked out on that anyway. No pics, figure you guys know what a steering box looks like. :biggrin2:

:beerchug: heckof a job so far. Im thinking of doing the same to a NF I have. build a wild looking show cruser, but need 2 frames to do what Im thinking about.
