I am happier than a pig in the mud! I finally found the correct snow blade for my O and picked it up on Saturday. It did not have the lift rod, but it had another tab bolted onto the factory tab so I was able to jockey it around and use the lift rod for my BB36 thrower (no creeper assembly so I have not put it on yet) by using the tutorial that says to put the tractor up on some 2X4's and keep the blade on the ground to make the blade have the correct "float-range". Last thing to fabricate was the little clip-thing on the handle so that the blade would float. I cut a chunk out of the old rusty fence out back and bent it around until I was able to replicate the one's that one can find on the auction site. Fast forward to today, and we have thus far received 5-6" of snow and it is still snowing (lake effect snow for those of you who are looking at Indiana and not seeing any system stuff going through!) Lastly, I tried to push the snow with the ags on, but found that the 900' paved driveway with hills was a little too much so then I changed over to the standard tires with tire chains. That made things much better! Now, I see why you all fill your tires with fluid and put on a million pounds in order to help with traction! All in all, it was a fun and productive day off of work!
