You won't need anything extra to lift or lower the blade that works off your tractor deck lift. If you want power angle you'll need front hydraulics.
Go to the Cub site. https://www.cubcadet.com/en_US/operatorsmanuals Type in 190-401-100 for the model # and download the operators manual |
Thanks for the info, Sam.

Here is a guy on FB selling a Haban plow. Price sounds high but it does have the power angle.

Haban Plow 190-401-100 Connection Question
Hello .. first post regarding a new to me 2284 with a Haban 190-401-100 hydro plow (has the optional 190-378-100 kit). So my son and I changed the rear hydro fluid upon receiving the tractor and haven't yet hooked up the plow, but one thing we did notice which was the lever that operates the front hydraulics does not move up or down (seems stuck). I have 2 questions 1) is that normal and will resolve itself once the hydraulic lines are connected out front and 2) should we in some way "purge" the plow lines of any old fluid (plow was sitting for some time) before connecting it? Many Thanks !

They tend to stick if they have not been used in a while. Try something like power blaster on the spool where it enters and exits the valve body. Then you can tap the spool on the opposite end of the lever.

Thanks Sam.
Will give that a try. Any thoughts on purging out old fluid on the plow itself? Really enjoy (and appreciate) the great advice on this site !! Ed |
