I see green fuel line. Doesn't look like the right size hose. I also see the fuel pump isn't hooked up. How does this engine get fuel? No way the tank is high enough to gravity feed...... Looks like you have lots of issues you need to fix. :bash2:
Throttle may go wide open, but it's starving for fuel, not flooding it. Looks like you have a fixed jet Walbro on this thing. See how much posting a picture helps??? That why we asked for it. |
I have a electric fuel pump. Low pressure and yes it is the fixed main jet. The engine runs great but when I tried to increase the rpm is when I have the issue, it seems like to much tension on the spring and the governor can’t really correct it, I even tried the different holes on both linkages.

I just wanted some more blade speed for the high lift blades

The spring looks stock to me. Dash lever controls the tension. If the engine won't rev past 2400 without choking to death, you have an engine issue. Plain and simple. If the throttle plate is all the way open and the engine isn't trying to run away, the governor is working.

I found a nos spring seems to help a little, it runs great at 2900 rpm any higher and it bogs out

One hole what way? Towards the governor shaft or away?
