This is incorrect and prolly holding your rear up, this should be slotted like the other side and should be in the front holes.

Lew thank you for pointing this out. Although I don't have a slotted linkage like the other side ( I will have to try and locate one ) I disconnected the right side that has the unslotted linkage hoping that it would look better. I wasn't to impressed, something there is still amiss. I think I need to know exactly which deck I have and go from there as to what I need for a mule drive, or updated parts for such. I appreciate everyone's input and still looking for help here.

Thanks guys,
Joe

that deck is correct for your 100. The mule drive and hanger is not, that's likely why the hangers have been modified. I am running a wide frame 38" deck with wide frame hanger on the stock 100 mule drive with no issues. I have the correct mule and hanger in parts, but wont be in CT until October, going around Danbury, if your still interested at that time

I moved to Easley, SC. the begining of this year. Just changed the info in my profile. lol Coming down this way?:bigthink: Yeah I'd be happy to by that from you, not sure what shipping would cost though.

right on, Ive been through Easly, I did a cabin at cowpens SC couple yrs ago and stayed in Gaffney just east of you and spent a bunch of time north of you in and around Brevard NC. Id imagine you should be able to find what you need locally if you hunt craigslist. Ive been searching craigslist where Im at now in Kansas and there isn't much as far as cubs and what cool stuff there is, its way overpriced, or more than id ever pay. I go down to vols games in the fall, maybe could figure something out if you don't find anything by then. If I were you Id look for the correct mule drive for any cub up to a 123 and the associated deck hanger to work with that deck because it looks like a good deck. Often times its cheaper to by the whole tractor and get what you need off it then you got a whole supply of parts. I went with a near mint wide frame 38" deck because the original one was all beat up on mine, I do however have the deck hanger and mule off another tractor

So I came across this mule drive / carriage for 70 / 100 Cub Cadet on E Bay. Other than it having the right side slotted link pc. I can't see much difference in it than the one that I have. It has the two nubs on the front that will go into the eye hooks on the front of the mower deck like the one that's on my cub now. Is this listing on E Bay not the correct one for my application either? What am I missing here? :bigthink::bash2::BangPC: Thanks guys.

Did you move the linkage to the forward hole like was suggested? How about removing the deck and checking the condition of the "fork" and foot rest rod to see their condition like DeltaCub suggested?

yes, check to see that the fork in the sub-frame is around the foot rest rod and not above it. If above, it is going to angle your front lift arms more downward.
It should look like the pics below with a bolt shown through it.

That sure is the cleanest sub frame I've ever seen :beerchug::biggrin2:
