It's the series you have. You have the 10 horse hydro, they made that series with a 7, 10,12, and 14 horse engine with variations of hydro and gear drive.

Dang I think I messed up on the first or second page of that manual it says serial number 400k and up mine is like 370 something ...

i left the 73 off the list because it doesn't truly fit into the 1x6/7 series when people use it to reference the style of tractor.

Reread the manual....The 42A means it is 42" and is A=Adjustable for narrow or wide frames. You have an "A" setting and a "B" setting..."A" is for your tractor....a narrow frame...ser 400,000 and BELOW. :beerchug:
