Lmercer-

I hope you see this...for some reason, I never saw your reply/question back in June...anyhow...I use a cheap Harbor Freight HVLP gun.

How do you like the gun? I just bought the set with the detail and quart capacity guns. Haven't used them yet. Never tried HVLP, so I figured my Cub would be a good test subject.

I have no complaints about it. It's easier to clean than the old Sears gun I used to use, it's fairly comfortable, and there isn't too much overspray if you have the settings right. Mine is gravity feed so there is very little waste. The plastic paint cups can get dry and crack in storage, but they're fairly cheap, so that hasn't been a big issue.

Uhh...maybe. It's 1200 miles away and I think they've changed brands a couple of times since I bought it. The new ones look basically the same but the brand is slightly different.
