It's going south with the 2182 I'm fixing up for my daughter and son in law. I have a tiller behind a 149 for my place. I may be picking your brains when I get into the chain case on it. My guess is it sheared the spirol pins on the bottom shaft because if you turn the output shaft it will spin the input pulley but if you hold the pulley and turn the output shaft it just slips. Of course the whole thing needs to come apart to get at those 2 pins. Crappy design. :bash2:

Wow Sam, you got any single daughters? I could use some free super cubs sent my way. :biggrin2: :biggrin2:

I think your right about the spirol pins, parts tree shows 2 on the bottom sprocket. The only other thing could be stripped teeth, but I'm sure you would hear/feel that as you were spinning. You gotta have the patience of a saint to take all those chain case bolts out and back in. LoL
Let me know if I can help :beerchug:

Bear with me if the pics aren't coming out correctly. Don't have a computer so this is all done by the itty bitty screen of a phone.

We just may be able to work something out. She's 25, how many Super's will it cost me?

And the tractor had 20 hours when I did this. Live and learn. Loader in the air and the ROPS removed: nothing but safe for me!

Andy that looks preaty deadly. Next time you have to change the oil, remember it can be done without tipping the tractor over on its side, just kidding. Glad you and all involved is ok.
