J-Mech 07-12-2013 12:31 AM

3600 RPM High idle, no load.

Plowboy1086 07-12-2013 12:59 AM

Ok ill need to adjust that screw too. Thanks

Plowboy1086 07-12-2013 11:25 AM

Maybe you all can help me again.I can't get my motor to go to full rpm without stage staging it. If not it has a huge delay

J-Mech 07-12-2013 11:28 AM

You mean if you "cob" it wide open it dies? Misses? Chokes? ..... :bigthink:

I still don't think you have the carb adjusted right. Are you sure the timing is correct?

austin8214 07-12-2013 01:19 PM

Yep..you have timing and fuel issues. What is your points gap set at? Also your going to want to check the club rules to see what RPM they allow. Your not going to want to set max at 3,600 if 4k is allowed. However DO NOT turn more than 4k if you still have the stock flywheel on it.

Plowboy1086 07-12-2013 01:37 PM

yeah i know. i adjusted the carb some more an its working now. and i can run 4000 in my class. the points gap is what ever stock is. i have no idea

I hope he has a blow shield around it, if not ask him how he would like to go through life missing his feet. All for what $60.00?
