I have a 125 in storage right now that was a basket case when I got it, so a full restoration was out of the question. Today it is a fine running tractor with many modifications but still mostly cub cadet.

Then while showing the pics of my 125 to someone they said that they had what looked like a cub on their property and I was free to take it. I have included the picture of that tractor here. It was an absolute mess. Again I chose not to restore, but rather to rebuild and make it a running tractor again.

Nice looking tractor, and welcome to OCC:beerchug:

Since its seem like ages that I've been on here. I have made the 100R look a little better. I've been busy with tractor pulling, girlfriend and a lot of other things. But i did get some time to push dirt.

Thanks for the nice welcome. I have been lurking for some time but didn't have my cub here to be able to share much. Ever since a friend gave me my cub 125 in 1987 I was hooked. In the 25 years I have had the tractor it has been an extremely reliable workhorse. I've included a couple older pictures of it, but will include more once my workshop is complete and I can get it back home.

When I say my 125 is mostly Cub, what I mean to say is that is has parts from a 102 that was given to me as a donor, and the 125 that was mostly complete. I have also upgraded the front end to have trailer spindles and 4 lug Golf Cart rims and tires as I am going to add a front end loader that I have been designing. The engine has also been modified to include an electric PTO clutch instead of the Cub mechanical PTO.

I also have been acquiring the Kohler parts to convert the engine to a gear start and a stator based charging system. All I have left to acquire is the flywheel shroud and the regulator and then I will be able to convert the engine.

I, with the aid of cubcrazy, located this seat at a local auction and picked it up at a "Lew Price" to say the least! Thanks Mike!! It cleaned up quite well.:beerchug:
