today I took the sleeve hitch off the 126 with loader on and put it on the72. There was not much use for it on the 126 because of the loader. I also added a spring assist to lighten the load. Now I can use the 72 for many other things.:biggrin2: I would be interested in putting lights and fenders on it if I would ever come across some for a good price.

Well I ordered the 3 point lift bar, lift straps and lift pin for the 784. That should have me all fixed up for plowing :)..

Yesterday I got the hydro lift installed on the 125. I started my day cleaning the garage and ended up putting the tiller on it. All I wanted to do is test out the lift to make sure it was working right. My neighbor asked me if I was tilling his garden today, sure why so I got started and my other neighbor asked me to do his as well. So much for getting the garage cleaned today. My wife was kind enough to get some pics.
I have the black plastic on the seat to keep me dry from the seat. It needs to be replaced. |

72 is looking great Jeff!
Duke, looking good buddy! Tiller looks like it's working nicely and I wouldn't have even noticed the seat if you didn't say anything:beer2: I rebuilt the #30 carb tonight, made a custom bushing to fix throttle shaft play, broke off one of the brass screws taking them out:bash2:. But I fixed it up good for now and will probably replace throttle shaft down the road someday. |

Jeff, love the 72 looks fantastic!
Lookin great Duke, I like how the 125 is winking at us:biggrin2: Jude what did you use to make the bushing? Looks great, nice job. I had plans to put the brakes back on the 1282, I took them off the other day and cleaned everything up. They were really rusty from the last 27 years. Well long story short I was installing a kitchen counter top yesterday and trashed my back . Looks like the will be waiting for a few more days to get put back together. I did get one side on Friday night so here's a before and after for you guys. |
Eric buddy, sorry to hear bout the back. Hope you're better in no time:biggrin2:. Very nice work on the brakes too, lookin very nice!!
I used a super dense rubber washer used in plumbing, found it at the local hardware store. Fit in carb perfectly but had to drill out center for throttle shaft, which was nice as I drilled it with a super tight tollerance. |
Thanks Jude, feelin better tonight, good pain pills :biggrin2:. Nice work with the bushing, that's a great idea. I took the day off tomorrow to give it a break, hopfully I can get them the rest of the way back together tomorrow night. If not the'll be there on Tuesday.
