Just replaced the incorrect blade lift bracket with a new WF bracket for my 1811. Wow, I popped a grin when the hydro lift raised the blade up for the first time. This is my first tractor too.
And it was just in time because we have 3-6" coming tonight in Southern MD. Do I need to install my chains or weights for this much snow? I have decent turf tires and a 100' paved driveway. I know I could shovel it but I broke my toe recently. That's my story and I'm stickin to it! |
I kept Lew in hamburgs for a while by ordering a 161 short block to end up in O #2
Does that count? |

I got the 1050 ready for the snow, today was the first I've started it since spring and it fired right up and runs great. When I change the oil I could smell a hint of gas so I plan to order a new fuel pump for it tonight, once the pumps on it will be ready for some snow.

Yesterday i picked up a ton of accessories. cub sleeve hitch casitng with lift bar and rear end bracket, 42 blade, WF spring assist and side covers. Thought i got a good deal at $300. Then i swapped out the wrong plow for the right one. Now i just need to find hardware for the panels and find my hydro leak coming from the front side of the transaxle and fix the slop in the trunion (that i thought i already fixed).
Edit: I added some better pics but as usual, the forum doesnt like it and wants to flip them. |
That's a nice stash of accessories you've got for your cub!! Contrats

I could not move the 1861 when I went to the shack to push it out, frozen tranny on a stick, did the heated dipstick thingy and in a few hours it was moving again.
Got it running and did some snow duty, then I changed the hytran and filter in it, old fluid came out like chocolate milk but you can't drink it. |
I split the 100

The shifter forks needed some attention so I had to pull the transmission out. It took all day to get it apart and back together but it is once again ready for snow.

125 resale project
Pulled the engine and disassembled it so I can get the crank to the machine shop to be turned. Turning out to be a not for profit project. I’m not a hydro guy so I have no plans on keeping it. Was hoping to make a little to fund other projects. Bahahaha
