Just got done cleaning up the driveway last night and "BOOM", all the ice/snow slid off the roof right in front of me! Some seriously big pieces of ice too, took a couple pics of it:biggrin2:.

Also went and got correct belt for thrower today and put that on, fired it up and WOW, what a huge difference in performance!! Was throwing slush pretty freakin far:beerchug: that was until it stopped working altogether:bash2:, got off the tractor and took a look. Found one of the pto bolts was loose, really loose:angry:. So now I need to take off pto and rebuild it, need to use some treadlock or lockwasher to keep the nuts from vibrating loose.

I cleared a path for the dog yesterday. The frozen crust on the snow has made things very tough for the dog. He only falls threw every 3rd or 4th step. Makes him nervous. One minute he's doing fine, the next, he is up to his chin in snow.
The snow was probably nearly waist high at its deepest. The old QA36 ate it up!

Darn PTO!:bash2: I'd :censored: if we had all that snow.:biggrin2: With all the roofs breaking with all the snow fall it's probaly best that it all fell off. Even if you got more seat time out of it.:beerchug: Those seat pans look cold!

Got to make sure the dog can get around. I'm glad the old QA36 took care of it for your dog.

Yes, pto is double nutted, maybe I didn't tighten the outer nut enough on one, it's all back together now and I'm warmin up a bit before I go put the 71 to work. If she's runnin like before I'll do a vid. Thanks William!

Flatbedford, nice to see the cubs working for the dogs, a pic below of my 2 boys in the snow:biggrin2:

Ya Duke, but the pto issue was probably my fault, although when I went to take it off I noticed the clutch drive plate was all loose too:bigthink: I haven't touched that since I got the tractor, anyway, tightned that all up and now she should be good for a little bit:beerchug:

Thanks Allen!!! Looks like you boys might get some snow thursday:beer2:

Click on the first picture for a lousy video of the 125 with QA36 whittling away at the 10 foot tall snow and ice pile that the town put in my overflow parking area.

I worked on the cc36 thrower and the 71 for a couple hours last night. Fixed the pto and pto pulley and put the correct belt on which made a HUGE difference. I didn't realize how much slip the other belt was giving, with new correct belt on she stall out the engine now:biggrin2:. Not that I do that though, I'm amazed that 7hp can move the tractor and throw heavy snow this well:beerchug: I had a good day on the 71!!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLbAPrey8tI

Oh ya, pic below of one of the chunks of ice that came off the roof:bigeyes:
