Hi, I'm new to this site but have been a member of other cub site's for about 20 years and sort of collecting for more than 35 years, and the reason I stick with it is not for the trailer queens and the parade princesses (although I love the eye candy), I enjoy going to the shows and looking at the pictures of these old machine's to see what stories they have to tell and what jobs their owners modified them to do. I totally agree with Eagle Keeper to a point and thank those who preserve the machines to their historical beauty, we need that. But I also enjoy looking at the machines that wear their dents, scratches and modifications as a badge of honor like those on this web site. Keep up the good work!

I can't believe how well it runs!!!! You show me something built today that will just start up 40 years from now. NEVER GONNA HAPPEN!!!!! That is why I love this tractor so much. It's proof that things CAN be made to last. My uncle got this for me and I can't thank him enough. I'm 40years old and feel like I have a new toy ;)

I'm looking to get the creeper gear system for this and would also love to learn what the PTO was for. I have a PTO on my newer cub and that is for the mower but I thought I read that the PTO on the 108 was for the rear only?

I'm VERY new to small engine repair folks. Never done this in my life and actually a little intimidated by it. Still, I want to learn so please be easy on me if I ask very simple questions that you would think I should know. I'm a computer geek by trade so thus stuff is a little scary too me. None the less this 108 has won my heart and will be pulling my kids around for their hay ride next summer!!

I picked this up this past Spring to fix up. Not really a restore, more of a refresh. I've been replacing worn out parts and freshened up the paint and decals. The motor seems to be in good shape. It has a deck I'm working on now thats in pretty good shape, just needs to be taken apart and a small hole welded up.
