He said it's been in his shed for 6 or 7 years covered up. When I asked him if he wanted to sell it, he said I wouldn't want to pay what he had in it. He did say it was a 4 digit serial number. I will look at it and see?

Todd, your slipping. I have been waiting on someone to tell me to get the correct size carriage bolts on those wheel weights? Every time I look at it, I think about that, but can't remember to pick them up.:biggrin2::biggrin2::biggrin2: Her's a picture of the rear of the 4 digit. I have the spring and correct throttle coming from Rob Houtz. I also have the mower deck that's in the middle of getting tore down and sand blasted. Dang, I'm tired of wrenching on these for awhile, and I have the right elbow and muffler to go on it.

Oh, I ain't gonna hack on you for that. BUT those hood decals ain't gonna cut it. The red throttle handle, really Ronnie? And what the heck is that snake of fuel line all about?
Watch what you ask for...:biggrin2:
Oh, oh, and ah... those lug bolts "should" be natural. Plated. You are doing a fine job Ronnie, don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

:biggrin2: Thank you Mr. Zippy. But I was talking about the other one. I have the correct Throttle lever coming from Houtz for the 4 digit. I will fix that snake on both of them one day. I did get 2 of the clamps from a kind member for the cable to mount on the bottom under the carb? But I am a trader, I ordered 2 of the stainless acorn nuts for the steering wheels. I just thought I would warn you before you see them, I normally don't put shinny stuff on my tractors. I always want you to set me straight on the O's.:biggrin2::biggrin2::beerchug::beerchug:
I almost forgot, you are slipping, you didn't say anything about that exhaust mess?
And, what about that fuel line? That don't look right? Every time I start it, it comes off and soaks me with fuel.

My fingers were getting sore correcting you.:biggrin2: I had to take a break...
The chrome acorn nuts look good on the wheel. You had mentioned you were "fixing" the exhaust earlier, and that's good. Yeah the fuel line needs some attention. The fuel bowl with "correct" line looks better than rubber, but to each their own.
Hey Ronnie, my tractor is a long way from being "correct" as it wasn't a "Restoration". I learned a great deal from others who forgot more than I'll ever know... Just do what makes you happy.
BUT if you want to put it in "close to original" condition, then there are a few things that need to be done.:beerchug:

Yes, I know, but I rely on you to set me in the right direction. Remember the 1st one I got? Didn't know squat about it. Now after many hours reading and the great folks on here, I have learned a great deal about the Originals. I have the parts to fix the fuel line, the exhaust and also have a very good set of collared spindles to put on it. Also have the correct Throttle. and Decal from Hunter Douglas. But that's as far as I'm going with it.:biggrin2::beerchug:
