well guys cut my lift rod for the 70 today made it 10 inches in length drilled a couple holes in it and put it on the hitch in back ill have pics tomorrow, also traded my buddy for his rear Brinley plow , needs paint but everything is there and even got the manual. Oh if you guys notice the puddle under the tractor my carb bowl was leaking some one had a flat aluminum washer on the bowl bolt I didn't take it off figured it would help seal, I took it off and now its dry. Ill need to get some of those rubber sleeves for the gas line and get a new sediment bowl which arrived today

jeepchicken5000 10-04-2014 09:28 PM

IHinIN 10-05-2014 10:02 AM

Tractor looks great! It makes me want to paint my 100, but that will have to wait until after winter.

jeepchicken5000 10-05-2014 09:22 PM

thanks IHinIN it did come out great now I gotta figure out what to do with it keep it sell it drive it around the yard maybe ill put a plow on it and use it this winter , sounds like a plan hm think that will be my next item to paint the plow , more pics to come haha

jchristensen 10-06-2014 08:33 PM

What did you use for paint? I'm in the middle of a 72 and debating on paint. I don't like the newer color cub paint on the older cubs. Yours look right to me.

Looks GREAT! I noticed you put a spring assist on it. I have a 122 with a manual lift and spring assist. My arm still gets a workout lifting the blade.

jeepchicken5000 10-10-2014 06:52 AM

calvin its still pretty dang heavy with the spring assist on glad its on though ,ive still got 2 more blades I can re do and a few decks if I get bored lol, ive got one more tractor that needs work also at the moment
