Thanks! the narrow frame cubs didn't have a ported hydro pump, so for a hydraulic lift it had to be an external unit, which was run off the pulley on the back of the engine. with the wide frames, they went to a ported unit on the hydro pump, so they didn't need an external pump. the pulley is still there on the back of the motor, just unused. I have to say i really do love my 125. maybe not as much as the 72, but it's definitely a rock star.

The external hydraulic unit is neat but is a PITA if the belt goes bad; pretty much have to half remove the engine to put another one in.
