Well,
I also collect larger farmall tractors. My other hobby is N scale model railroading. I have a fairly large collection. Now I just need to add on to the house to put a layout back up. I had a layout at the old house, but haven't had the space for the past 5 years. Really need to make a small table to run them. I know my kids would love it.

sure is nice to know you all....

...a little better! A good one to break some of the ice! I like to play chess, shoot my 7.62x54r, and tinker with my Ford trucks. I realy love to garden the most! And landscape my own yard! And reading about wars. I have had the pleasure of working for some very interesting folks,....perhaps I'll tell you more one day!:beerchug:

most of my spair time is tinkering with my cubs but otherwise im just an average junior in highschool lol. i play varsity tennis, ride snowmobile and dirtbike, hunt and fish, also collect farmall toys. my dad and i are trying to locate a international pickup to tinker with. would really like to find a 70s 3/4ton 4X4 with a 392 :biggrin2:

well i used to build 1/64 scale farm toys but i lost interest. here are a few pics of what i used to build. my new hobby is 3 wheelers. i now own 2 Honda big red 250ES 3 wheelers made in 1985. i also enjoy hunting w/ bow and gun, doing stupid stuff with my friends, racing lawn mowers, making stuff go boom and working with steel. fabricating unnecessary things in my garage to make my life somewhat easier is what i do! haha

NICKVANORMAN,

I have been looking for a project 350x for a couple years now. If you come across one, I sure would appreciate the heads up.

Thanks.

Antique clock collecting, repair & restoration.. and Genealogy: have traced the Bounds family back to the 10th & 11th century Normans of Normandy, then they were in the 1066 invasion of England, settling in Wales, from whence they came to America...Now resurrecting lost/neglected family cemeteries in Eastern Texas.

My wife says I'm OC (obsessive compulsive) but not D, meaning it's not a disorder....yet.:bigthink:

1) Vintage Cars. I've had my Chevelle for 16+ years and did a frame off restification that took 8 years.

I got this one for a song. Replaced the floor boards, installed a new exhaust and some other minor repairs, drove it for few years, and sold it to guy who made me an offer I couldn't refuse.

2) Bird hunting and bird dogs. I have a German Short Hair that I trained and hunt frequently. She is an awesome pet and hunter. This was her first grouse in 2006.

3) Cooking. I'm an avid BBQ'er. I built an outdoor kitchen on my deck 2 years ago and also a wood fired oven for pizza and bread. I make all my own dough and sauces.

You know what...... I lead a BORING LIFE compared to you guys!

Used to collect 1/64th scale farm equipment (all packed in a box from when I move into our house back in 2004)

Used to snowmobile.....sold my sled 4 years ago at Christmas (frustrated with lack of snow and guy made an offer I couldn't refuse - his kids got a heck of nice Christmas present)

Used to ATV..... A LOT! (Just too busy with things anymore, even helped start the ATV club around here and get the trails going)

Build furniture when I have time (furniture maker by trade)....trying to keep my part time business going and progressing to full time - Yeah, sure - like that will happen anytime soon!

Work on our house, finishing the basement (bought it with an unfinished basement). I should have everything finished by the time I am ready to retire at the age of oh....70!

Enjoy gardening and landscaping.....makes it much more enjoyable to sit on the back deck and have a :beerchug: in the summer and look around at all the hard work.

Spend a lot more time doing training on the Fire Department.....This April will be my 14th year on the department.

Would love to get back into farming again....grew up doing that and loved every minute of it. Miss driving combines all summer and fall. Just something about sitting on a tractor for hours on end, working in the field and no one bugging you. You do something like that day in and day out - you can't beat it! Put yourself in an office enviroment with phones ringing and constant run of people   It certainly gets to you. Gives you the feeling that you would just love to become a hermit! Then you realize you might have to do without your Cub if you did something that drastic. :bigthink: What to do!

Love to cook.....was fortunate that the wife and kids bought me a kick a$$ BBQ 5 years ago for Christmas. I'd use it every day if I could!
