There are other, better products.
WD will not hurt anything but the best I have found is Kroil.
We used to buy it in 5 gallon pairs and it is pricy! and stinks like a skunk,
--- ok not that bad, but has a distinct offensive odor.
But it works,--- others are nearly as good like liquid wench :biggrin2:
and PB blaster to name a few.:beerchug:

Thanks ol George , looked up Kroil and not available in Aust but for $22.00 to $140.00 postage I can buy some
Looked up Wench and now being trolled by an American woman , it is not available in Aust either

WD-40 does make a penetrating oil now. I have a can of it and it works pretty good.

Alright, fanboys, op -- use "penetrating oil of choice"

I have used the Kroil oil to help. I am looking at an impact wrench. Will a 3 gallon air compressor run an impact wrench?

I may look for one at a pawn shop or Harbor Freight. One of the small towns I travel to has a pawn shop with a large inventory of tools. But Harbor Freight is not far from the house.

Thanks for the advice!!!

Y'all have always been a big help. you helped me get a 782 running really good and also my 1320. The 1320 cuts grass as good as my Grasshopper.

The deck belongs on the 782.

Thanks.

Get a cordless electric/battery powered gun...you won't regret it.

Here's a good price on a kit with light, sockets, battery, charger and the old-style high torque DeWalt 1/2 impact: https://www.farmandfleet.com/product...combo-kit.html

I have an older 3/8" drive Milwaukee 12 volt cordless, good for driving in lagbolts, an older 18 volt 1/2" drive that pretty good for wheel lug bolts, and I just bought a 1/2" drive corded from Harbor freight last summer, that pot licker has some really great power. I recommend that one.
