Had endless problems with a QA-36 on our 105 until I discovered rpm at wide open was 2600. At the suggestion on a post on this site I adjusted max rpm to 3800 unloaded, and 3600 loaded. Night and Day ! Also make sure the u-joints on the thrower driveshaft are “In-Phase.” !!
