Because there's nothing better than a nice foamy beer when you're mowing! Haha :beerchug:

Could be a place to set your cold beer while you're working on it?

Could be worse, she could of bought a box store green one and you would have to shun her.

I went from a gifted Bolens Eliminator to a gifted Lowes Troy Built Pony around 2007-2008. Added a crankcase vent the Briggs Powerbuilt engine, in only the second season! With proper maintenance! I sunk another $400 into a replacement engine to put on it, and I was always replacing parts on it until I stumbled across my first Cub, a 1641 that was $200 in 2015 or 2016. I got it running and loved it, and never looked back. I couldn't sell that Troy Built fast enough. I was young and stupid, and thought "new" was better, because that old Bolens had a lot of wear and tear on it. I don't know how many Cubs I've tried out since then, fixed and sold, or fixed and used a little while and parted. I've settled on the 82 series. I like them the best of all.

But he’ll be the envy of the neighborhood with his shiny new toy.

Somehow my kid likes the older lawnmowers--Given the choice he'll rather run the 1811 than the 2284. Got so tired of the 2072 spinning one wet spring he quit using it and finished with the 128. But he is all about the latest phone app, computer, video game etc so maybe he is learning to sift through everything to find the best?
