Anyone notice what looks like clam shell rear fenders?

I took a bit of a departure from original Cub yellow and went with Caterpillar yellow on this one. I liked the more mustard shade for this particular rebuild project. I have another 100 that I’m probably going to go back with the right actual IH/Cub colors scheme.

Good catch n the clamshell fenders. Those I hope are temporary until I can find and afford a set of original round fenders. The clamshells kinda grow on you after awhile but it would be nice to get the right fenders some day.
