its all from old leaks, I don't see any new leaks. I was going to replace it anyways while I had it apart but I forgot to get on when I ordered all my stuff the other day:bash2:

So got the new plate welded on and when I put the Chevy emblem plate on, it's compressing the springs to where the caps don't touch the plate. I hate to have to buy a new plate on top of it, but looks rough.
What do you Think? Usable with some repair or definitely need a new plate?

Looks like you need a new cam plate, at least one that is betterer.
