I use Plow guard that is made for coating the mould boards on a farm plow. It brushes on easy and gives protection to the metal. When it wears off just clean and brush on again.

Spray on bedliner. Stuff seems durable. :beerchug:

I would avoid anything textured, it will be harder to clean and the grass will stick to it more.

Plow guard or any other paint or coating is made to keep a plow from rusting in the off season.
Once the plow is used, it wears off in less than 1 acre.
Hell, I have to replace shins and points every other year

So, to answer your original question, I gotta ask,,,
"When you sand blast, what type of paint remains behind? :bigthink:"

THAT would be the paint to use!!

It ain't gonna happen.:beerchug:

What they said.:beerchug:
I've painted two deck bottoms, gave up, nothing I tried stayed on. So now every fall, before putting the mowers away. Clean them good, and apply waist oil.
Sure, there are paintless patches, but no rust...:beerchug:

I actually use a hose and spray every time. I don't get build up. But the waste oil, maybe a couple time a year. Might give this ago. Thx fellas
