Check the steering for slop. I would not be surprised if it will probably turn 1/8 to 1/4 turn of the wheel before the wheels start to turn.
Check for fore and aft movement of the front axle when you test the steering. Check for looseness of the tie rod and the drag link ends (4 of them).
Check the tightness of the pitman arm alongside the steering box, all while moving the steering wheel some.
Check for loose or sloppy gear shift, make sure the lever does not spin around in the cup.
Check for front wheel bearing slop, (push on the tractor sideways at the front wheels)
For that kind of $$, there should be NOTHING wrong with any of these items, and I should come with a battery, "turn key deal"
Last 126 I bought was $300 and I drove it on the trailer.
