We have people coming from Japan to our area. In Japan It is believed that if a baby is conceived during a total eclipse that that baby will be superhuman. So you can about imagine what they're going to be doing during the two minutes of Darkness

The eclipse apex-ed through here in Mid Michigan at 2:24EDT at 81%. Been a long time since I have seen one like this (~1970). Impressive to say the least.

Was peaked here at 1:05central time. Pretty cool. I spent most of the morning testing different welding lenses. A number 11 with a dark pair of sunglasses was best. I had the paper glasses too.

I was a little bummed that my auto darkening helmet wouldn't darken once it got to a certain point, I was able to see it up until about 3/4 covered.

Most have a sensitivity adjustment. Your's doesn't?
