I have seen guys talking about pinching the axle channel.. How well does that tend to hold up for? If you can clamp it shut, wouldn't the pressure of the tire hitting something just bend it back? I have three I was thinking about doing this to. But I didn't want to waist my time if it will not hold up. Just curious.

The whole idea is not to hit the front tire with something or you will bend the axle channel.That is how they get bended

The grill seems to be missing the cast in piece behind the voltage regulator. Casted area around the top panel for headlights is absent.
