safety pto?
|
Guess I learn something new everyday, I've never seen one like.

They came out on the 1X9 series, so unless a PTO has been swapped, that will be the only series you will find them on. Started at SN# 482000 and ran till 529811, so relatively few of them out there. (Compared to the other style.)

To add to that, I believe all of the 169's had them installed from the factory on them. So now that begs the question, since I have to remove the PTO anyway and I have extra old style ones, do I put an old style one as a replacement (obviously changing out the rockshaft as Yosemite Sam already stated and the wear button, etc.) or do I fix what I have (leave the PTO with the safety brake installed on it) for the next owner since this one is up for sale? Again, time is not on my side and I am looking for it to move on down the road.
I am thinking fix what I have, but it like man waiting to be executed.....always want to hear other options. Cub Cadet 123 |

i guess the universe work in mysterious ways, just drug home a cub and it has this goofy setup on it. looks to be in good shape and im going to switch it out for the regular style so i curious what the complete setup is worth.
