Kopeck, looking good. Good job on the pics too!

Alvy, I have the same gauge and it seems okay but I'm pretty sure Hendrick Motorsports may use something that's a little better.:biggrin2:

I'm impressed with the job your doing on this one. Your sister is going to have a sweet tractor. :beerchug:

Looks good. I also play mechanic first and worry about body and fender repairs much later. Maybe I'm just to afraid of scratching the paint if I have to go back and do additional work!:biggrin2:

A little more progress.

Rear end is bolted back in and the hydro linkage is all hooked up:

I was able to add a washer to the pivot points to tighten things back up a bit:

I need a new filter and some Hy-Tran before the fenders go back on. I also put new tie rod ends on and greased everything up. The chassis is more or less done baring some unseen disaster.

Just waiting on the machine shop now...

Question for ya. The link that goes from the hydro to the brake mech, how is that attached? Did you use a bolt or something? When I bought my 127 this link was not attached back to the hydro and all I have is the yoke on the end of the link and no pin or bolt. Just trying hard to find out what that part is.

Which end?

On the brake side it's a yoke with a pin that goes on a brake on the brake shaft. On the other side it's hole that slides over a stud on the speed control plate.

Unless something major is missing it should be fairly obvious.

Ah thats what I needed to know. Im working on a NF tractor and it's kind of hard to see that. Thought I needed a pin or something. Thx

The machine shop has completely derailed this project. They have had the 321 for 8+ weeks for just a .010 overbore and turning the crank .010. Just just got word that it was done, now I need to find the time to go it it.

In the mean time I cleaned and primed some parts:

Fantastic build! The balance gear shims from an AQS Kohler K Series engine might have worked for "washers" as well. Just a thought I had while reading this thread. Glad the crank pin checked out too!

SUCKS having to wait for outside work to get done, seems like it's never fast enough:angry:
Good to hear everything is coming alone:beerchug:
