When I first got my 1100 it had small holes in the gas tank and rusty flakes in the tank and all throughout the gas line. I bought a $10 craftsman replacement gas tank and all new fuel line/filters. Was going to rebuild the carb, but a new carb replacement was only a few buck more, so I just got the new carb since parts for these motors are getting SCARCE! Runs like a top now! (of coarse, I did eventually have the whole darn motor rebuilt, but I did get it running initially after replacing the fuel system).
