fisherman 1526......looks like a lot of fun, can't wait to put my newly acquired Q42 to work!!!
Hydro 67, @ 30 below, you don't have to worry about sinuses........your snot is frozen to your mustache, your toes don't hurt...they've already passed the numb stage and are headed for the "what the heck, I'm already frozen" stage and you stop, look at your hands and wonder who they belong to!!! I did see a picture once when I was looking up OCC and found a picture of a guy mowing in a cemetery and he hooked up a flex tube to his exhaust and routed it back to his feet as a foot warmer..........guess he was exhausted when he got done!!! A little snow here 5"
I was glad to get out and play around moving the white stuff.
I didn't get a pic though. It was fun while it lasted. It was 12 deg. the night after it snowed with about 25 mph wind. I was glad I didn't have to go to work. Made me cold just thinking about it. I wasn't in -30 deg. since I was in the Navy in the North Atlantic. It might have been a little colder than that though, now that I think about it. We had to put into a port to chip the ice off the forward gun mounts and the break, so we wouldn't capsize. Burr!!! Makes me cold just to think about it. ole 147 |
