Welcome to OCC:beerchug: Both are great tractors, I agree that the wide frames are simpler to work on, but that never stopped me from owning a bunch of narrow frames.:biggrin2:

same here. I have both. love my NF's
but for me a mowing tractor has to be a WF 82 series.
use less fule. less time mowing (runs faster)

my 125 NF would take 1.5gal to mow my yard . and in the 582, the 5gal tank would last all month. also getting it done in half the time of the 125.

it just a cool factor getting it out and mowing with it , (every once and awhile)

Funny, cuz dad's 782 uses more fuel than his 125 mowing.

I reckon that the 109 would be the tractor of choice just for fhe fact the mower deck is in better shape. That and the fact the drive line is easier to get at and work on.

cubby102 01-05-2013 10:08 AM

yea my 782 uses about twice what my 123 foes through. But still powers through the taller grass much easier

The 105 has a IH blade on the front but has what looks to be a home made lift that hinges from the hood hinge with chain and linkage that connect the blade to the lift arm. Is this unusual?

thats a good lookin 105 as far as the plow setup that's very intresting but looks to have been done so that they didn't modify the tractor itself... I would try offering a little less and see what they say
