Well it looks as good as other side. There was no welding seam it looked like it was just pressed HARD to a bit tight hole so it had "welded" itself together.

Well if I rotate this plate to its original position then hydro input gear throws oil directly to breather(and it bubbles out). But when it is rotated like this breather is on top of ring gear(and it does not bubble). Hmmm.. Do I have one of the very latest QL's or why is breather installed differently? I'll post serial no later. And yes of course I have checked Hytran fluid level as I replaced rear cover gasket and also oils right after replacing hydro gasket. And yes level is correct.

Yes this might be it. If you look at first pic you can see that there is also "almost drilled" spot on center of top cover. Also dealer might of noticed this and it was their repair for it. January 1979....:bigthink: Hmmm I am from March 1979 so this thing is only couple months older than I am :beerchug:
