I didn't have to wait long. I took that picture at about 1 in the afternoon. I plowed at about 4, again at 7, 11, and 5 am! We ended up with about 18" at my place. I don't have any pictures, but I was very impressed with how much snow the tractor could move. I easily pushed the windrow from the town plow. I bought the tractor this spring mostly as a snow machine and I am very happy that I did!

i havent measured the height but im sure its not 4", is there some type of adjustment that i could have not adjusted correctly?

My 126 sporting new weight hangers and lights, waiting to go out and play... I have a steep inclined driveway about 100 ft long and without the weights, can barely get back up the driveway in the snow! Got 200 lbs on there, can't wait to try it out.

Please tell me those weights are connected to something more than the back of the tiller gearbox bracket. More support is needed so you don't bend/break something; or better yet, the weight should be on the wheels.

No, the weights are hanging off the 3pt hitch, see pics.
I agree would be better on the wheels, might try to fab something to use for wheel weights next year so as to be able to use with the tiller too.

:beerchug: Looks good from here! Thanks for the extra pics. Those weights might fit on the wheels...a few members have come up with ways of attaching them. A search for 'wheel weights' here might turn up something useful.

You don't need/want any extra weight for the tiller, BTW.

The 126 will be fun in the snow. A good set of chains on those tires would help a great deal!!! Those weights might not even be necessary if you had some chains on those tires.

snowthrower belt
 

so I'm dying to try my 109 and 42a snowthrower. Got the heavy metal mounted but for the life of me, I can't get the belt on. I have the correct belt and a spare, read the manual but nothing in there other than turning the big wing clockwise to raise the pulley for mounting the belt. But i have the wing turned all the way in and still can't get the belt on. Is there a trick to this? it was on there when i got the tractor and the guy i got it from took it off in a snap so we could load the rig in my truck.

I haven't mounted a snowthrower in a couple of years, I just left mine on one of my cubs and retired it to tossin' snow. You might try turning the wing back all of the way or even partial until you can get the belt on. It's been too long and I forget which way, but I know it was a cinch once I turned it one way....loaded the belt and then tightened it the other way. Give it a try!!
