Of course that is going to be a solid tractor that has been bullet proofed. Those 1864's are just awesome tractors. Can't wait to give mine a test with cutting the grass this year.
Nice work there Sam. |
Your right, it looks like total dog turd. Just send it on over here and I'll put it out of misery :biggrin2:

Another project up and running!!
One of these days I'll be retired and can go through a cub as fast as you can..... :biggrin2: Now if only I could retire with some income, LOL. |

Now if only I could retire with some income, LOL.[/QUOTE] In your line of work I would be thankful to retire with a good back and non arthritic hands. You seem to be sharp enough that money won't be a problem when you get there. :beerchug: |
Looks Great Sam!! :beerchug::beerchug:
It should kill grass really well!:biggrin2::biggrin2: I've got to get busy and get the 2182 serviced and ready for this year... Our grass is already beginning to grow just like yours! SURE is early this year but no cold weather at all here!!:beerchug: |
Worked on the 46GT deck today. Replaced the double pulley and bearings, the bearings had spun in the housing and were ready to fall out. Funny because the bearings were not seized up. New bearings fit sloppy in the new pulley so they got some loc-tite bearing mount. Used my needle grease injector on the idler pulley bearings. Had to replace a step washer for the idler arm. Had to weld one of the wheel mounts. Pretty much just little stuff but it should make a nice grass killer. This deck will go on the 1641 that I'm loaning to my step son. The 48GT that is on the 1641 will go on the 1864. :beerchug:
