Well here's the ammo i'm using;

Arm & Hammer soap,
Finish remover, (lethal & some bad stuff) about $ 7.69.
2-3/16 S.S. plate,
gloves,
cheapie brush's,
Saftey glass's,
Self etching primer,
Battery charger,
pint mason jar for that lethal stuff to brush on,

http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/b...ectrolysis.jpg

There is no way i'm gonna get in there to even try to scrape & sand the backside of the nose on my # 109.
Don't want to get into sandblasting, so i'll try this?
That Tal Strip I bought at a local auto parts store is LETHAL stuff & potent. I was warned by the counter guy about using it. He told me wear glass's, rubber gloves & a long sleve shirt. Which i'm doing.

1 tbl. of soap to 1 gal of water,
3/16 S.S. plate bolted together to make it easier to attach my positive lead from the battery charger,
Rubbermaid rubber bin which i'm using to use as my cooker,
Slop the entire nose with that stripper & let it set up till I see it's doing it's job,
drop itin the tub & add water to cover,
attach the negative lead to the nose & the S.S. plate to the positive lead,
Plug in the charger & hope it does'nt blow up? :Explode:

I brushed some of that brew on part of the nose & wow, it like removed the finish NOW.

Gonna take some pic's after the fact & see how it works? My 1st. attempt.
I'm setting up my camera to video mode & try the You Tube thing?

The movie may take a bit cause i'n not to computer literate. We'll see?

Nik,

nikster (and everyone, for that matter)-

DO NOT USE STAINLESS STEEL FOR ELECTROLYSIS RUST REMOVAL!

When used as an electrode, the SS will create dangerous, very poisonous and carcinogenic chromium compounds that you cannot legally or safely dispose of. You don't want to contaminate your ground water and get in trouble with the EPA. Use ordinary steel only.

Picked up a brinly 3pt plow for next to nothing for my super diesel. It came with this jc penny tractor that is a hydro with shaft drive and shaft driven deck. Think I'll just sell that.

Nice plow, Adrian! :beerchug:
