No, thank you! I'm only a little over 2 months into my "yellow fever" and I've caught quite the bug:biggrin2.gif: Found the 1st O' for $300 on craigslist up here in VT, about 40 min.s away. The 71 I bought a couple weeks later for $400 and was 1.5 hours away in VT. Both of these tractors came with mowers, snowblowers, weights, and chains! The O' I got last week was 4 hours away in southern Mass. and had to pay a pretty penny for it, but it has all the options except for lights. I hope you have the oppurtunity to obtain an O', they are awesome! Funny thing is this "disease" all started over a wheel horse tractor I was looking at to restore! Then I saw the O' and that was it:Cub1::IH Trusted Hand:

pic of my first O' that I'm restoring now, she was a little rough!

Thanks Sminkey, I restored this one in 3 months and 1 day start to finish. Everything but the fenders one had a big dent so I took my time and fixed it right. Sure is hard to stop once you get started. Yours is looking great, keep up the good work. You thought yours was rough here's mine before I started it.

Diz Jr. 08-19-2010 11:44 PM

Beautiful work juniors1282

Just wanted to show you guys a couple pictures I took of my "O" today, and one of my boy out toolin' around on it. Sure puts a big smile on dads face when that's all he wants to do everyday is play with tractors.

My 149 and extras

Here are the pics of my 149 and attachments. Used a little rattle can on the 149 just for this season I work in corrosion so i know were missing paint leads. Hoping for a motor rebuild and pro painting next spring. Now the paint on the blade and Blower is all 100% O. dont know if it was ever used much. Deck had been welded small repair. But still solid cuts like a champ.

ACecil 08-27-2010 01:55 PM

Great looking 149 and attachments! :beerchug:

That 107 is perfect!!!!! I just passed on a 107 today to buy this, now I'm wondering. I can't complain I picked this up for 300 with a plow that has never been on a tractor and one of the cleanest unrestored cast end decks i've ever seen. Came with these Kick a** home made fenders that someone really did a wonderful job making. They are made from diamond plate and wheigh about 35# each. The tires are original and are in great shape. It does have a replacment 8hp kohler on it, but I have a 7hp from a model 70 that I'll put in it someday. The seat is uncracked and has a well made back rest.

Sminkey 09-02-2010 01:41 AM

That 107 looks Fake!!

That tractor didn't look that nice straight out of the factory:bigeyes:.

Sweet score on the 70, $300 is a great deal, very nice implements:biggrin2.gif:

ACecil 09-02-2010 08:42 AM

Great score on the 70, Junior!

Moved cubs into barn and setup shop!!

2 Attachment(s)
Ok, haven't worked on my cubs in a month since I've been moving. Where I moved to the barn didn't have a garage door so I couldn't get my cubs in and out. Got an insulated garage door on Craigslist for free, I had to take it down but what a deal:beer2:. So yesterday I installed the door, which I've never done before, and unbefreakinlievable it worked great:biggrin2.gif:. I will say to anyone attempting an install to take great care in setting the springs and cable!!! Today I started to set up shop and moved my babies inside, where they belong.

johncub7172 09-03-2010 03:01 AM

Shop Set-up

That's a good shop for the tractors. I see the 71 over there ,hehehe!

I'm quite mechanically inclined, but was sweating the install. Did it completely by myself and I only weigh 130# soaking wet:biggrin2.gif:.

ljones: I'll get dimensions in next post, that's a good question btw!

john: you're just funny:beer2:
