I got time to get some seat time today and what a better way to get out and enjoy a great day then hooking up the caboose up to the 122 and taking the wife and kids out for a ride.
The caboose is 5 ft long by 3 ft wide and 6 ft tall. It's James red and Percy Green (Thomas and Friends). We'll finish painting it this weekend. My son has already informed me that we need a passenger car for little sister so the fun begins again! |
Great pics, Duke! The caboose is very neat!

Thanks Allen! I still need to put seats in it but it's close to being done. All the kids around the love it when I bring it out of the garage. I took it to my son's 4th birthday party at the day care and all 18 kids piled into the caboose like sardines! Here's a pic!

Love the caboose and my boys did too! If I had the room, we'd definitely have one...or two...or three....
And the Danco's sweet too |

1872 with rear forks (carry all)

Finally got my combined A-frame/hitch/weight bracket/forks for my 1872. Still need to find a short top link, so I made a temporary one so I could play. Took some scrap wood and also made a little platform. What am I going to use it for? I really have no idea, but it was a lot of fun just moving stuff around!
