I would not tie into the hood, as it is not structural. Plus, you won't be able to open it to put gas in or check the oil. Every cab made for these that I know of uses the footrests to mount the front of the cab, or something else in that general area.

It would also be a good idea to make a bracket that bolts to the head to support the exhaust, all the weight can crack the exhaust port. Otherwise you have a good looking cub:beerchug:

i was thinking of doing that but still unsure of how also im not sure how much i really like this exhaust. im kinda not feeling it now. i think i need a little chrome on this tractor...
