Sweet! Those are great pictures....love to see more of them. So you run the sheller with a right angle gear box with the flat pully on it to run the belt? I seen one of those gear boxed the other day, must be enjoyable to have the ability to run a machine like that when you need to. I think it would be cool.

Belt pulley
Yes, I run a flat belt pulley off the rear PTO. I hope to find or build a nice ice cream maker. The corn thing is fun to watch but you can't top (unless it's chocolate syrup) a big bowl of ice cold ice cream on a summer day at the plow show. I have seen them before running of old hit-n-miss engines. I didn't get any good pictures of the back of the Cub with the pulley running :bash2:but I'll take one of it at home to show the setup.

Mmmmmm....:beerchug: & Icecream! YUMMY! :biggrin2.gif:

This is the way it looks from the back. I just finished my 122 and should have the 123 done soon. I already started another Original and hope to do a 100 at the same time. This past winter was so cold here in Ohio that I got the Cub bug real bad. Love working on them as long as it remains a hobby, once it becomes work it's time to step back for awhile. I enjoy seeing all the great Cub Cadets everyone shares on this site.

That is cool! Aint never seen a cubby like that. I take it your loading hay into a barn?

A corn sheller was used. The kid's had a blast and the chickens ate good that night. We stressed safety as #1 priority.

Junior
I like the way it turned out. Feels good to do a good job and be able to see your finished product. I know many of my CC's will be here when I'm gone. I'm doing another "O" at the moment (and a 123). I try to do 3 or 4 "O" each year. I usually restore 2 CC at a time to save on costs. |
Your Original looks great, Junior! Awesome job! :beerchug:

Nice job Junior. It looks great. It'll look even better with the fenders.

Thanks guys for all the compliments. As soon as the fenders are done I've got a #2 cart to restore, and then on to my newly aquired 100. Here's a couple of shot I took today while I was working in the yard. Thanks again.
