My son and I are running some rc in the yard today, I'm rocking my favorite truck which is a Traxxas Sledgehammer out of the 90's. It was the first real hobby grade rc I ever had and I've made plenty of modifications to it over the years, these are a wheelie machine due to the short wheel base.

This is the original body on another chassis, I retired it before it got to beat up. Sledge's 3-6 are torn apart in boxes for easier storage, I also have a large box with a bunch of NOS parts and decal sets.

Yeah, that was my second truck after the Kyosho Big Brute. Used to go through dog bones all the time with that thing. Then got the Sledge Hammer, and as you said, it's a wheelie machine.:beerchug:
Should be getting my new toy sometime later in the week. Thanks a lot Tim it's all your fault.:biggrin2:

Traxxas TRX4.
Wanted something to "crawl" around. Try something different, never had a trail/ crawling RC before.:beerchug:
A buddy ordered one also, so can play around on the different piles I've got outback. There's rock, stone, gravel, topsoil and sand, little bit of everything.
We were talking about building a challenge course. We'll see if they're durable or not.:bigthink:
Looking for different bodies, cause I ain't diggin the one it comes with. Diggin this 66 Chev.:beerchug:

They had a trx4 on display at the hobby shop the other day so I got to look it over, seems very well made. This guy has a bunch of good videos on it.

Took the TRX4 out for a smoke test today. Very happy with it's climbing ability, and length of run time. 1 hour and 50 minuets. Awesome ground clearance.
It's a pooch, but for what it's designed for, it did real good.

Zippy, if you really want to spend a bunch of time looking at scale crawlers, go over to rccrawler.com. They have some guys that build amazing scale crawlers!
