Today I finally installed the oil pressure gauge. Went with a mechanical one. Sorry for the picture quality.
http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/...psfy3zziy5.jpg I was able to use a "T" fitting to keep the oil sentry and add the pressure gauge to the same spot. Tight fit but it works great! http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/...psl1zuketk.jpg And here's a pic of us getting to work hauling dirt for the firepit. http://i1356.photobucket.com/albums/...psgpefy82l.jpg |
Looks good, glad I was able to help.

Haven't read all through this yet, but hit the high points. Thanks for posting. I recently picked up an 1872, had a 682 but the motor went kaput. Got me thinking, maybe I will put the 18hp motor from the 1872 into the 682 & go the fuel injected route like you..... hmmmm.......

I've had a few questions on the EFI wiring as of late. Kohler has a great basic wiring guide for their engine, mine happened to come with it. SEW has it posted in pdf form as well, link is below.
Kohler TT-5109: Basic EFI System Installation Guidlines http://www.smallenginewarehouse.com/...3b7c17ae05ed9f As for an update on the tractor, it's been great! Hardly a winter here in Michigan so the snowblower was only used twice. Just took it off last week and getting ready for spring work. |
