Just finished re-building the deck hanger's worn parts, and welded in new pins on the mule drive tonight. If starting yourself on fire counts, I did that too :bash2:
If it happens to warm up today I should be able to get them shot and ready to try and mow with her for the first time Friday..

I had a very productive day today with all of my projects. 1st I went to my Cub parts supplier guy nd picked up a gallon of Hytran oil as well as a set of cultivators for my David Bradley. Got them for 20 bucks. He also picked me up a sleeve hitch adapter so I could give him his back. Not bad for $50 bucks.

I also started to make my DB a little more personal.I removed the original bolts on the transmission and replaced with new Stainless bolts. Then I stripped the 128 frame as well as 1200 frame that we had gotten cheap and kept the usable pieces from them. I also rebuilt the steering column and painted it that I am planning to use in my red tractor project. I also painted several more pieces of the DB tonight as well...Tomorrow, I plan to put the steering bearing conversion on my 1200 and maybe get the handlebars for the DB painted..

I decided to try to get my engine-donor 1250 running so I could put the engine in my 682 and then move the loader over to the 682. I took the carb off and cleaned it (I'll be posting a carb rebuild how-to shortly) and put in a battery. It cranks over and has nice spark, and a newly-rebuilt carb, so tomorrow I'll put it back together and see if it runs. And then pull the engine out and start prepping it for the 682...

Almost forgot...when I took the carb off, I saw that it was a #30. I then decided to look at the tag on the engine, and I discovered that somebody put a K321 in it. I guess I can use 2 more hp...:)

Nah, it'll get either get sold as a roller, or I'll hang onto it and try to squeeze a CH18 V-twin into it...

Yea, I agree, it is still a good looking tractor.

I think you should sell the rear fenders off of it, but that's just me.

Thanks
Cody
