Happy Day Today!
Cut the grass with the 1650, put the front blade on & leveled out the floor in horse stalls & main isle. I've got gravel coming tomorrow so the blade is still on.
Browsing around craigslist I found a 1967 model 123. Went to look at it....WOW! All origional paint, 42" deck with new blades, rebuilt Kohler, decals & owners manual all in great shape for $400.00 I loaded it up and brought it home. I spent the rest of the day tinkering with it, grease here & there, oil changed etc and trying to figure out how to get the front mount PTO to work right. That is the only problem I've found. It stays engaged full time! Back to the manuals & internet to figure it out. Then I found & joined this forum. Yep, good day all around. I'll post pictures tomorrow, I never thought about taking any while the sun was out. |
". when i looked at it i saw he had the motor in backwerds . "
I bet it would be scary going backwards in third gear. You better put some mirrors on it. |

Well today was the first time I have actually used my 1200 for any work. Got home early and decided to mount the plow and put the gravel back in the drive. Worked great, but you know I think I might have to just go back and work on it some more...Had a ball doing it. Think I want a Hydro though hand is a bit sore from raising, and lowering, and feathering the darn thing... But all smiles and really happy with the way the 1200 ran.

went on a cub run to fleet farm, got some headlights, airfilters, washer fluid for tires, and a bunch of other odds and ends for my cubs. got my 100 goin this weekend. put on the sleeve hitch and 6-12 ags and put the brinly blade on her. at first i didnt like the gear drives but this one with the creeper makes it alot easier to work with. also noticed the hydro lift is a little more touchy then a wide frame hydro lift. also plowed the neighbors garden with the 1650. did a awesome job. overall a very fun cub weekend
