1250
Well finally got to work on the 1250 with hydro lift pump and three point hitch today, was told it had a broken rod, just had the Exhaust Valve stuck on it, so replaced both valves and springs, cleaned head, changed oil, drained all the old gas, tore down carb and cleaned it, then when I was ready to start it, it would not start, Had to jump over the soleniod to get it to start, now other trying to fix problem with starting of the tractor, the hydro shifter has to be about 3/4 of an inch above the netural mark on it, to keep in from taken off, hydro's are new to me so I have to find out how to fix this. But the good part, It ran great, no smoke and sounded very strong, Now if the rain stops and I off for a while maybe I can get all this done and put on the dual wheels and put on the box blade and go play, sorry no pictures, did not have a camera today, will have some when everything is going right with it.

well here is a pic of my buddy buzz plowing for the first time with my super
|
Great pictures guys :Thanks:
Looks like everyone is enjoying spring :biggrin2: |
I went to move the 100 from the garage to the shed and found out the starter/ gen is bad. Put a different one on and got it running. Guess it's time for a rebuild.
After that, I pulled the hydro unit off the rear end of the 149 to replace the cork gasket. It had been leaking pretty badly. While I have it apart I'm going to weld up the trunnion slot too. It's only worn a little bit but I might as well fix it now. |
Thanks for the plowing pics.

I started avertising for spring garden tilling and had 3 gardens to do today. My neighbor let me use his 149 and tiller for a back up in case mine blew a belt or broke down. So here's the tilling crew. Both 149s with tillers
