Nose is white, decals on, and everything lined up and installed. On to painting the fender pan (again) and this thing is DONE!

Naked tin! Got the fender stripped to bare metal today. I used paint stripper, then sanded using a DA with 80 grit, then 220 grit, then a final hand sanding with a maroon 3M Scotchbrite pad. Once the tin was clean, I wiped it down several times with lacquer thinner on a clean cloth. If you use chemical paint stripper on a project, you must be certain to completely clean all the chemical from the metal so the new paint will not be affected.

Well boys and girls, I put the finishing touches on today. Just waiting on better weather to take it out and run it for final testing, then it's headed back to TN. CubDieselFan is getting anxious!
