You have done a great job with that tractor. I sometimes think about doing mine that way, base coat clear coat, but it takes a lot of abuse, I don't know, maybe some day.
As of right now, I'd be happy just to have it running again. |

got all the body work done and the parts in a reduced coat of epoxy to fill the 220 sand marks. I'll 600 wet sand them next then seal and paint tomorrow sometime.
the bottom side of the fenders got a coat of bedliner. there was so much surface rust here I wanted to protect better then the paint/clear will. it'll still get painted. http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/100_7303.jpghttp://i846.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/100_7304.jpg http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/100_7305.jpghttp://i846.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/100_7306.jpg http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/a...t/100_7307.jpg |
Doug,
Great idea on the bed liner coating on the insides of the fender. I assume you sprayed that on too! Man you are talented when it comes to prep and paint work! This 582 is one "spoiled tractor"! Regards, Chris |
Great idea on the bedliner. I have a similar issue on one Im getting ready to do, thanks for the idea.
