I had some stumps ground down from some trees that were cut last week so I used my 1772 to load up the dirt/chip mixture.

I did some driveway maintenance with my 125 over the weekend. I also used my Sears a little bit, but I won’t subject you guys to those pictures. :biggrin2:

Nice gentleman. I told him he should try another ignition switch. Ends up he is only a few miles from my house so I took one over. That fixed it. He still wanted it gone so now I have too many Cubs, just like before I got this one.

I put the 3 point arms on my 984 today. Took a bit to find the right 5/8 clevis pins (2"); luckily Farm & Fleet had 2x 3" multi-hole ones hiding in the wrong bin. Basically a press fit into the bracket on the tractor.

Removed a frozen kingpin/spindle
(AKA Steering Knuckle) from my
Cub Cadet 122. Had a buddy come
over and spent 45 minutes
heating the axle with an oxy-
acetylene torch and beating with
a 5lb sledge onto a brass drift. Long
time since I had such an intense
and difficult heat and beat project.

I got this CC122 from a fellow that owed me . I used it a couple times but steering was difficult as it was so tight. I was unable to get grease to flow through the existing zerk fittings.

Yesterday, with both king-pins/
spindles (AKA Steering Knuckles) removed,
I removed the existing press-in zerk
fittings. Then I drilled the hole, tapped the holes for 1/4-28, and then installed new threaded zerk fittings.
